Summary:PURPOSE:To continuously produce the titled sheet having uniform fine cells stably over a long period of time, by melt-rolling a mixture consisting of a polyolefin resin powder, an org. blowing agent powder having a particle size within a specified range and an org. peroxide. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyolefin resin powder (A) having a particle size of 500mu or smaller, 5-25pts.wt. org. blowing agent powder (B) having a particle size of 50mu or smaller, a particle size range wherein the ratio of the particle size of component A to that of org. blowing agent powder is 1:10-150:1 and a decomposition temp. higher than that of an org. peroxide mentioned below, such as azodicarbonamide, and 0.1-8pts.wt. org. peroxide (C) such as benzoyl peroxide, are mixed together in an agitating tank 1 equipped with an agitating blade 2. The mixture is supplied through a supplying machine 3 to a space between belt conveyors 6, 7 driven by means of rolls 8-11 in the direction of an arrow, and molten in heating parts 13, 14 to form a sheet 17. Then the sheet is rolled by means of a pressure roll 12 to produce a deaerated sheet 18 which is then cooled in cooling parts 15, 16 to obtain an expandable sheet 19.
