Summary: | PURPOSE:To enhance the adhesion of a steel plate by cathodically electrolyzing the plate in a bath contg. specified amounts of chromic anhydride, sulfate ions and a mixture of different 2 kinds of fluorine compounds. CONSTITUTION:An electrolytic bath is provided with a composition contg. 40- 120g/l chromic anhydride, 0.04-0.2% sulfate ions and 3-7wt% mixture of 1 or >= 2 kinds of fluorine compounds selected from a group A consisting of HF, NaF, KF, NH4F, NaHF2 KHF2 and MNH4HF2 with 1 or >=2 kinds of fluorine compounds selected from a group B consisting of H2SiF6, NaSiF6, K2SiF4, (NH4)2Si F6, HBF4, NaBF4, KBF4 and NH4BF4 to the amount of chromic anhydride. A steel plate is cathodically electrolyzed in the electrolytic bath, and it may be further electrolyzed in a chromic acid compound of >=4pH. |
