Summary:PURPOSE:To achieve static operation and suppress an increase in chip size by providing a latch circuit to an output part and fetching output data to the latch circuit right after precharging ends. CONSTITUTION:The output part of a dynamic CMOS.ROM circuit is provided with a latch circuit L, which is equipped with a means of generating a data fetch signal B for fetching the output data of said CMOS.ROM circuit. The pulse width of the signal B is set a little bit longer than the access time of a CMOS. A pulse signal B with width delta is generated shortly after precharging ends and the output data of the ROM is fetched to the latch circuit L by said pulse signal B to give the same function with a static type, thereby reading the output data through the latch circuit L.
