Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain conveniently storable pure bile crystal which can be formed to a desired drug form, easily, by adding a pharmaceutical base obtained by heating an animal fat and animal bones at high temperature to the bile of a mammalian animal. CONSTITUTION:A pharmaceutical base having unique characteristics is prepared by heating an animal fat and animal bones at high temperature. The bile of a mammalian animal (e.g. pig) is mixed with the above base, and heated at 1,300- 1,400 deg.C to obtain pure crystal of bile. The reaction is carried out in a reactor made of 18-8 stainless steel.
