Summary:PURPOSE:To deform both ends of a curved part to the direction to approach each other, and to firmly fix a heat collecting tube at the curved part of a heat collecting plate, by fitting the U-shaped curved part into a groove of a female die, and fitting the heat collecting tube into the curved part, and pressing the heat collecting plate and the heat collecting tube with a male die. CONSTITUTION:A curved part 21 of a heat collecting plate 20 is fitted into a groove on the upper surface 12 of a female die 11 on a jig, and a heat collecting tube 22 is fitted into the curved part 21, and then, both ends of the heat collecting plate 20 far from the curved part 21 are clamped at over the total length to the female die 11 with jigs 25 and 25. Then both bent parts 26 and 26 of the curved part 21 are raised from the groove, and a section 27 of the heat collecting plate 20 from the bent part 26 to the jig 25 is lifted from the upper surface 12 of the female die 11. The heat collecting tube 22 intrudes into the curved part 21 and the top of the tube 22 becomes lower than the upper end of the curved part 21. When a male die 30 is lowered under this condition, a projected part 31 of the male die 30 presses the upper part of the heat collecting tube down and, at the same time, parts of the die 30 other than the projected part 31 press the bent part 26 of the curved part 21 and the section 27 of the heat collecting plate 20 down. Then, the heat collecting tube 22 is deformed and the bottom section of the curved part 21 and the heat collecting tube 22 are contacted by pressing to each other, and also both end parts 26 and 26 of the curved part 21 are deformed toward a direction in which both end parts approach each other. Thus, both end parts 26 and 26 are contacted under pressure with the upper part of the heat collecting tube 22 to hold said tube 22.
