Summary:PURPOSE:To manufacture a thick screen plate with a less opening width by forming a pattern or a resin film selectively melted with irradiation of a high energy beam thereon after formed on a support body. CONSTITUTION:A resin film 1 made of epoxy resin or the like is formed on a support body 3 through a cushion material 2 and a converged laser beam 6 is irradiated on the resin film 1 from a laser beam irradiator 5 mounted to a drawing device 4 capable of drawing a desired pattern to selectively melt a part corresponding to a pattern region of the resin film 1 whereby an opening 7 of a desired pattern is formed. This makes the wall surface of the opening of the resin film smooth thereby preventing a metal paste for screen printing from being attached to the wall surface. Thus, the metal paste printed can be thickened with respect to the pattern width.
