Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent fuel from blowing off in the captioned apparatus such as coal gasifying power plant etc. by a method wherein the total energy level of retentive sensible heat and heat value per unit gasified fuel is detected to control fuel supply quantity by the variation of this level. CONSTITUTION:Sample fuel 29 and combustion air 30 are introduced into the combustor 27 of a detector 34, the sample fuel 29 is burnt, the temperature of combustion gas 31 is measured by a thermometer 28 and given to a signal converter 35. The signal converter 35 transmits to a flow arithmetic unit 37 signals proportional to the total energy level of retentive sensible heat ad heat value per unit gasified fuel. The flow arithmetic unit 37 compares the signal with the output value L required to that apparatus, determines the flow of fuel necessary for the output value L and controls a control valve 33 through a controller 38. This structure can prevent flames from being blown off by unstableness of combustion, shortage of heat value based on variation of heat values of the fuel. |
