Summary:PURPOSE:A heat dissipating sheet of vulcanized rubber having improved long- period stability, electrical insulating properties, heat conductivity, and high strength, maintaining sufficient thermal conductivity by a small amount of a filler, comprising an inorganic filler consisting essentially of aluminum nitride. CONSTITUTION:A heat dissipating sheet comprising a vulcanized rubber sheet blended with 35-70vol% one inorganic filler selected from the group consisting of (A) aluminum nitride, (B) aluminum nitride and boron nitride, (C) a mixture of >=0.3 in volume ratio of aluminum with one or more selected from the group of alumina, silica, magnesia, zinc white, and mica, (D) a mixture of >= 0.3 in volume ratio of aluminum nitride and boron nintride and one or more selected from the group of alumina, silica, magnesia, zinc white, and mica. Aluminum nitride obtained from direct nitration of aluminum is preferable.
