PURPOSE:In producing polyesters from glycol esters of dicarboxylic acid, a complex compound prepared from an aliphatic carboxylic acid or its salt and titanium is used as polycondensation catalyst and a specific amount of terephthalic acid is added at a specific reaction stage.
