SOLUTION: This relaying device 2 is attached to a high place such as a ceiling in a room where an infrared controller such as a television set, a radio, an air conditioner and a running toy are arranged and contains an infrared light receiver 22 that receives infrared light from an infrared controller 4, a conversion circuit which converts a signal that is received by the infrared light receiver into an electric signal and an infrared light emitter 23 which converts a signal from the conversion circuit into an infrared signal and irradiates.
