Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preserving calcium phosphate cement which does not deteriorate in spite of long-term preservation and a method for kneading the calcium phosphate cement capable of obtaining a cured body having excellent strength and lessened inclusion of air bubbles. SOLUTION: The calcium phosphate cement consisting of tetracalcium phosphate powder, hydrogencalcium phosphate powder, etc., is put into a vessel, such as glass vial, and while the inside of the vessel is kept under a reduced pressure state from several mmHg to about 100 mmHg, the cement is preserved. The cement is the taken out of the vessel and a masticating liquid, such as pure water, is added thereto and the mixture is kneaded and cured, by which the cured body may be obtd. The cured body may also be obtd. by, for example, injecting the pure water, etc., by means of a syringe into the vessel maintained under the reduced pressure state from its cap made of silicone rubber, kneading the mixture by suitable means, such as vibrating the vessel at need, then taking the kneaded matter out of the vessel and curing the kneaded matter.
