Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction caused by resetting a hold-capacitor in a peak-hold circuit used for making a detection level of an infrared receiving device. SOLUTION: A comparator CMP1 of a peal-hold section 21 compares an input signal with an output signal, when an input signal is high, the comparator CMP1 supplies a charge current 11 to a capacitor C. The capacitor C is discharged with a discharge current 12. When reset operation is performed by input switching or the like, a comparator CMP2 of a reset section 22 increases quantity of current driving of the comparator CMP, that is, a charge current by I4, a discharge current also is increased by I3. As I4>I1 and I3>I2 are satisfied, the peak-hold section 21 has fast response speed at the time of reset, that is, time constant is made small, drop of a hold-value such as drop caused when electric charges are instantly discharged is prevented, and a hold-value of the capacitor C can be quickly restored to the initial level. |
