Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a placement type concrete formwork for an underground wall that can improve the workability and the waterproof function of the underground wall, is lightweight and has sufficient strength for construction, and can prevent condensation. SOLUTION: When a concrete wall 14 is placed using a formwork 10, cement paste for concrete impregnates a water permeable layer 28 and joins the formwork 10 and the concrete wall 14. Surplus water before the concrete sets or leakage water after the concrete sets, flows into a headrace 30 through the water permeable layer 28, flows down the headrace 30 and is discharged from the bottom of the formwork 10. Heat from the concrete wall 14 is cut off by an insulating layer 24, thereby helping improve workability, prevent condensation on the surface of the formwork 10 and form a more lightweight and stronger formwork than existing ones.
