Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinched wire elimination structure for a protector which does not pinch a wire, even if tension is applied to the wire when covering the wire by closing a protector which consists of a couple of divided half-bodies. SOLUTION: This pinched wire elimination structure for a protector allows a protection pole 49 to be erected at the internal corner section of one divided half-body 33 of the protector 31 formed by coupling freely rotatably the L- shaped divided half-bodies 33, 35 via a thin hinge 37. Moreover, at least one corner section 53a of an almost square-shaped collar 53 projected at the external circumference surface of housing of a connector 51 is formed into a circular shape, and engaging space of engaging groove 55 recessed on the internal circumference surface of one end side of divided half-bodies 33, 35 is formed in the same shape as that of the collar 53. Therefore, the divided half-bodies 33, 35 can no longer be coupled to each other except for the engagement of the predetermine collar 53 with an engaging groove 55 of one divided half-body 33 having the pinched wire eliminating pole 49. As a result, pinched wires can surely be eliminated. |
