PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a stable combustion of fluidized fuel such as liquid fuel and slurry fuel or the like within a fluidized bed combustion chamber at a fluidized bed thereof. SOLUTION: A fluidized bed type combustion device 30 is comprised of a funnel-like combustion chamber 37 having its extremity end passed through and arranged at a side wall of a plenum chamber 2; a burner gun 40 connected to the rear part of the combustion clamber, having a steam supplying pipe 33 arranged at an outer circumferential side, a fuel supplying pipe 7 at an inner circumferential side so as to supply fuel 8 and steam 45 to the combustion chamber 37; a flat porous plate 10' having injection holes 11, 35 arranged at its extremity end for use in infecting the fuel 8 and the steam 45 into the combustion chamber 37; a fuel mixing pipe 31 projected in a funnel-like shape from the front surface toward into the combustion chamber 37 so as to mix the fuel 8 and the steam 45 from each other within it; and a combustion flame dispersion pipe 38 arranged in a coaxial manner outside an ash discharging pipe 18, vertically arranged in the plenum chamber 2 so as to disperse combustion flame flowing from the combustion chamber 37 and inject it to a fluidized bed combustion chamber 42.
