Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cumulative charging by emitting notification for many times owing to the abnormal termination of data communication in a notifying system through a telephone line network. SOLUTION: In the method, an equipment monitoring device 11 or an emergency notifying device 12 transmits notification data to a center side communication processor 13 through a telephone line network 14 with the detection of the occurrence of a notification event. In such a case, the center side communication processor 13 stores a caller number notified from the telephone line network 14, specifies the equipment monitoring device 11 or the emergency notifying device 12 which repetitively emits re-notification data that abnormally terminates by the caller number, judges a fault or not and sets an arrival non-response mode where an arrival-response is not made to notification from the equipment monitoring device 11 of the caller number judging the fault or the emergency notifying device 12.
