Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte solution secondary battery with high energy density, superior in low-temperature characteristics, a long-term stability and a recycling characteristic. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte solution secondary battery is provided with a negative electrode containing graphite at least as a component of a negative electrode material, capable of absorbing and releasing lithium, a positive electrode, a nonaqueous electrolyte solution consisting of a solute and an organic solvent, and a separator. In this battery, a mixed solvent containing ethylene sulfite and propylene carbonate is used as the organic solvent.
