Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel optical fiber ribbon which ensures the easy execution of the sepn. of coated optical fibers without using tools, etc., having the possibility of damaging the coated optical fibers. SOLUTION: This optical fiber ribbon 1 is constituted by arranging plural pieces of the coated optical fibers 3 in parallel in proximity to each other on the same plane and integral coating the circumference of the coated optical fibers 3 with a coating body 2 consisting of a UV curing resin. In such a case, both ends 2a of this coating body 2 are molded of the UV curing resin having the Young's modulus different from the Young's modulus of the other coating body 2b. As a result, the easy sepn. of both coating bodies 2a, 2b is made possible and the easy sepn. of the coated optical fibers is ensured.
