Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the operation of an optical measuring apparatus of obtaining an absolute value which has a plurality of photodetecting parts or light-transmitting parts arranged at different distances. SOLUTION: This optical measurement standard device is used to confirm the operation of an optical measuring apparatus when the apparatus measures a light absorption characteristic by butting an incident point and a detection point against a light-scattering body sample in a state while the incident point of a measuring light to the sample is separated from the detection point of the measuring light from the sample. In this case, an attenuation state of light passing the optical measurement standard device is made close to an object to be measured, so that the standard can be applied to calibrate the optical measuring apparatus which has a plurality of photodetecting parts or light-transmitting parts arranged at different distances and obtains an absolute value. The standard has a light-scattering body 2a where the measuring light can scatter and penetrate. A light-transmitting part 12 and photodetecting parts 14, 16 of the optical measuring apparatus can butt against one face of the scattering body. A light-scattering characteristic of the light-scattering body shows the same relationship of an incident amount at the incident point and a projection amount at the detection point as that of a living body. A plurality of divided optical members of different optical characteristics constitute the light-scattering body.
