Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device by integrating a camera and a stroboscope unit and further, providing a stroboscope housing part in the casing of the camera. SOLUTION: A pawl 111 exists in the bottom part of the stroboscope unit 107 and in a housed state, a lever 110 and the pawl 111 are engaged with each other to inhibit the stroboscope unit 107 from popping up outside the casing. When a lug 109 is moved down, the pawl 111 and the lever 110 are disengaged to pop up the stroboscope unit 107 by the force of an energized spring in a hinge part 108. The casing 100 has a stroboscope control circuit 114 inside and the circuit 114 is connected to a system control circuit 106 and executes for instance the light emission of a stroboscope, storage of electricity for the light emission and the detection of an electricity storage state, etc., to transmit the yes or no of the light emission to the system control circuit 106 by instructions therefrom.
