Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant coating member capable of affording a good image without frictional electrification by dispersing electroconductive particles in a metallic soap block in the lubricant coating member having the metallic soap block fixed onto a platy support. SOLUTION: This lubricant coating member 20 is obtained by fixing a metallic soap block 6 fixed onto a platy support 5 as shown in the figure and electroconductive particles 15 are dispersed in the metallic soap block 6. The platy support 5 has the electroconductivity and a bonding layer having the elasticity is provided between the platy support 5 and the metallic soap block 6. Both the platy support 5 and the bonding layer have the electroconductivity. Since the frictional electrification caused when the metallic soap block 6 is shaved off with a brushlike member can thereby be prevented, a defective image due to the frictional electrification of the metallic soap sticking to a photoreceptor or the like can be prevented. A lubricant coating mechanism for coating the surface of the photoreceptor or the like can be improved in an image-forming device of an electrophotographic apparatus such as a copier, a facsimile or a printer.
