Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium hardly causing clogging in spite of excellent filtration efficiency, easy in handling and reduced in man power. SOLUTION: This filter media 1 is composed of a core part 2 and plural blade like projections 3 provided projectingly around the periphery thereof at an equal interval. The core part 2 is formed into a almost cylindrical shape having a center hole 2a. Each blade like projection 3 is constituted of a plate part 3a, its longitudinal direction is parallel to the axial direction of the core part 2, and a columnar part 3b formed at the tip of the plate part 3a. The whole of the filter medium is integrally formed by injection-molding a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene or polyethylene.
