Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To render conformity excellent with the curved surface of matter to be printed by making fabric of polypropylene terephthalate fiber into screen gauze. SOLUTION: As screen gauze, the superior extension recovery of polypropylene terephthalate consisting of terephthalic acid and polypropylene glycol is extremely suitable for screen gauze for curved surface. The fiber is preferable to have an initial tension resistance of 30 g/d or less and an elastic recovery factor of 90% or more at 10% expansion in terms of opening stability. When the initial tension resistance exceeds 30 g/d, the initial flexibility tends to be short, so that deformation resistance of the screen gauze is large, resulting in a lack of opening stability. In addition, in case the elastic recovery factor is less than 90%, there exists a problem in which a stitch dislocation or the like is susceptible through the iteration of curved surface printing to a cylindrical member. |
