Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high quality heat exchange at very high rate by bringing powder and gas into counter flow contact using the centrifugal force and further bringing the heat exchanged powder and gas into counter flow contact and to collect a very high temperature gas by lowering the collection temperature difference significantly. SOLUTION: Powder and first gas are brought into counter flow contact using a centrifugal force generated through rotation of a rotary section 2 between a first powder dispersion cylinder 21 and a first gas dispersion cylinder 22. Furthermore, the powder and a second gas are brought into counter flow contact between a second powder dispersion cylinder 25 and a second gas dispersion cylinder 26 thus exchanging heat between the heat exchanged powder and the second gas.
