Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a very high speed high quality heat exchange by bringing powder and gas into counter flow contact using the centrifugal force thereby eliminating the powder separation process. SOLUTION: Powder is moved centrifugally through rotation of a rotary section 2 from the radially central part to the outer circumferential side thereof and then supplied while being dispersed through a powder dispersion cylinder 21. A gas being supplied from a gas supply port 12 is moved from the outer circumferential side to the radially central part of the rotary section 2 and supplied while being dispersed through a gas dispersion cylinder 22. The dispersed gas and powder are brought into counter flow contact between the gas dispersion cylinder 22 and the powder dispersion cylinder 21 thus exchanging heat between the gas and the powder.
