Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core controller capable of easily changing the method for power distribution calculation and quickly and properly conducting the operation. SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a computer 3 monitoring the plant state of reactor, based on the process data taken in by a process data fetch means 2 and its indication means 4 and an input means 5 for inputting as required by the plant monitoring function to the computer 3. A plurality of power distribution calculating parts 6 are given, which are constituted independently of a power distribution calculating condition forming means 8 and a power distribution calculation selecting means 9 by inputting and outputting data via data files. A power distribution calculation means is provided to perform power distribution calculation, following the power distribution calculation part selected by the power distribution calculation selecting means, 9 by using the input condition data of the data file 13 for power distribution calculation and to store the power distribution calculation results in the power distribution calculation result data file 14.
