Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device of a hinged door type cover facilitating lock release operation of the cover and opening operation of the cover, giving no restrictions to a shape of the cover, and reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: An inclined face 1a forming an acute angle for a surface 1b of a cover 1 is provided on the other end face of the cover 1 whose one end is fixed on a top face 2a of a case main body 2, and a pushbutton 31 which is inserted in the surface 1b of the cover so as to come in and out and is energized in the direction in which a tip protrudes is provided in the vicinity of the inclined face 1a. One end of a hook member fixed on a support shaft 37 in the cover 1 is energized in the direction in which it comes into pressure- contact with a rear end of the pushbutton 31, and a hooklike part 32a engaged with an engaging part 21 formed in the case main body 2 when the hook member 32 is turned in the direction of energization is provided at the other end of the hook member 32.
