Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high stability during long-term preservation and use and to impart a coating film preventing effect by using an aq. emulsion contg. a long chain aliphatic amine having a long chain aliphatic group, a neutral amine and a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester. SOLUTION: This vapor-condensate system treating agent compsn. comprises an aq. emulsion consisting of about 0.1-5 wt.% long chain aliphatic amine having a 10-24C satd. or unsatd. long chain aliphatic group or its fatty acid salt, about 0.5-50 wt.% neutral amine represented by the formula HO-(CR 2 )n -NR 2 [where R is H or CH3 , R is H, CH3 or C2 H5 and (n) is 2-3], about 0.1-10 wt.% polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester and the balance water. The compsn. is continuously or intermittently added to service water or vapor so that the long chain aliphatic amine and the neutral amine are contained by 0.1-200 ppm, preferably about 1-20 ppm in total to inhibit the corrosion of the metallic parts of a vapor generation system and a condensate system.
