Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BMC for the purpose of preventing the occurrence of cracks not only during the molding using insert or the likes, but also in a cold/ hot cyclic test. SOLUTION: A molding compd. contains an unsatd. polyester resin, a shrinkage-reducing agent, an isocyanate compd., a filler, and an organic peroxide. The unsatd. polyester resin is a blend of an unsatd. polyester resin A component, in which an unsatd. polyester A obtained by reacting an acid component of α,β-unsatd. polybasic acid or the anhydride thereof, and optionally a satd. polybasic acid or the anhydride thereof with a polyhydric alcohol is dissolved in a polymerizable monomer, and an unsatd. polyester resin B component, in which an unsatd. polyester B obtained by reacting tricyclodecenyl maleate or tricyclodecenyl fumarate with a polyhydric alcohol is dissolved in a polymerizable monomer, with a pref. blend ratio of 90-60 pts.wt. of the unsatd. polyester resin A component to 10-40 pts.wt. of the unsatd. polyester resin B component.
