Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope apparatus which scans a plurality of scanning faces without such an operation of the apex part as manual movement and decreases pain given to a patient by making the apex part into fine diameters. SOLUTION: A structure wherein an endoscope optical system is provided so as to face it in the obliquely forwarding direction at the apex part 11 of an inserting part and furthermore, on the apex side, a through-hole 25 along the first shaft in parallel with the longer direction of the apex part 11 is opened and it is covered with an apex cap and an ultrasonic oscillator 32 is held freely rotatably around the second shaft being vertical to the above described first shaft with a pulley 33 by a wire 35 and this ultrasonic oscillator 32 is fitted on the apex of a flexible shaft 29 passed through the through-hole 25 and is fitted on a holder 26 held freely rotatably around the first shaft and further, this ultrasonic oscillator 32 fits a piezoelectric body on the end face made by cutting obliquely a column wherein the above described second shaft is its shaft direction to make ultrasonic transmitting and receiving direction in the inclined direction to the second shaft and can be rotatably driven around the first and the second shafts, is provided.
