PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment capable of accurately reproducing information symbols when facsimile-transmitting an original including the information symbols and it is printed out on a reception side. SOLUTION: Without transmitting the images of a read transmission original as they are as facsimile data, for the information symbols in the images, after they are decoded once and converted into data (S100), the image data of the information symbols are generated based on the decoding data (S140) and they are transmitted (590) in the state of replacing them with the generated image data (S150). By performing such reconstruction, even in the case of reading the transmission original itself in an inclined state for instance, they are corrected to the information symbols in a normal state in the stage of the facsimile data for transmission. Thus, when facsimile data is printed out in the facsimile equipment which receives them, the information symbols are printed in the normal state and the information symbols are accurately reproduced.
