Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To externally start or remove a heater by selectively disposing a heating element, having a plate of a positive temperature coefficient material adjacent to a circuit region. SOLUTION: An external structure or an outer wall 10 for enclosing an equipment is provided in an enclosure unit 8 for housing an electronic equipment or a communication equipment. An access door 12 is provided so as to go into a unit interior, and a plurality of heat radiating fins 14 are fixed to the outer wall of the unit. Electronic sub-units 20, 22 for placing circuits are contained in the enclosure. Heating elements 30, 40, made of thermistors having a positive temperature coefficient(PTC) or a resistance material, are provided in an enclosure adjacent to the circuit. The PTC heating elements have one or a plurality of plates of the PTC thermistor or the resistance materials provided between a pair of electrodes. Thus, a passive control can be performed over an entire temperature range, and a heater output is not reacted with an input voltage, so that it can be used for a variety of apparatuses. |
