Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficiently high torque for rotating an upper portion rotating body, in a motor driveshaft with respect to a motor device for rotation which provides rotational drive force to a rotating body supported so as to be able to rotate with respect to the base. SOLUTION: A rotating motor B for rotating an upper portion rotating body of a hydraulic shovel uses a multiple stroke type radial piston motor provided with a plurality of individual cylinders 5 arranged radially in the inner portion of a cylinder block 2 which rotates with respect to a cam ring 3 and a piston 6 housed in each cylinder 5. A pair of taper roller bearings 8, 9 which support an output shaft 10 are arranged with a space therebetween in the axial direction. A brake mechanism 20 is housed in the space between both of these bearings 8, 9.
