Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably detect a person who goes in or out or stands stationarily by separately arranging signal reception sections and signal transmission sections on moving doors and fixed sections such as the fitting frames of a building respectively. SOLUTION: When a person enters safety detection areas 130a-130 n during the closing actions of doors 4, 5, reflection signals are detected by signal reception sections 32a-32n, and door open signals are outputted to a monitor unit by a control means 20. Even when the person stands stationarily in the safety detection areas 130a-130n, the signal reception sections 32 a, 32b installed on the doors 4, 5 are again moved to detect the stationary person. The signal reception sections 32a, 32b are merely required to implement moving body detecting switch actions and not required to implement stationary body detecting switch actions, and the circuit structures of the signal reception sections 32a, 32b can be simplified, thereby the cost of this device can be reduced while its reliability is increased.
