Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably widen use as a building material by putting the advantage of a foamed ceramic board to practical use while conquering a defect, and manufacture a large-sized board while easily attaching the foamed ceramic board to other members. SOLUTION: The inside of a box body 3 is filled with a plurality of foamed- ceramic board bodies 2 and the foamed-ceramic board bodies 2 are unified in the composite board 1. Since a plurality of the foamed-ceramic board bodies 2 are unified and one board is prepared, the large-sized composite board 1 not produced in conventional devices can be manufactured. The box body 3, in which a top face is opened, or the closed box body may also be used. Tensile strength and bending strength are increased by the box body 3, and the brittleness of a surface is also protected and solved by the box body 3. The composite board can be installed simply to other members such as a column, a beam, a floor joist, a ceiling foundation, etc. by nails, bolts, adhesives, welding, etc. by forming outwards projected flange sections 4 to the upper ends of the side facesor intermediate sections in the vertical direction of the box body 3, and application as a building material is widened remarkably.
