Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a steel pipe pile rotational press in device to provide a method capable of easily and safely making screw connection of a following steel pipe pile to the preceding steel pipe pile driven in advance in a steel pipe pile driving method driven while adding steel pipe piles having a unit length with screw connection by using the steel pipe pile rotational press in device. SOLUTION: After a preceding steel pipe pile W is completely driven, an adding steel pipe pile W is inserted in a steel pipe pile rotational driving device 38, a projected piece 110 projected to the adding steel pipe pile W in advance is freely fitted between chuck pieces 107 in an opening state, and a rotational press in process of the steel pipe pile is implemented while keeping the chuck pieces 107 in an opening state. Then, torque of the rotational press in force is only transferred to the adding steel pipe pile W through the projected piece 110 from the chuck pieces 107, and the lower end screw joint section Wc of the adding steel pipe pile W and the upper end screw joint section Wb of the preceding driving steel pipe pile W are connected to each other with screws by rotation of the adding steel pipe pile W.
