Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe pile driving device and a method thereof capable of being utilized in the case an underground facility is constructed under the track of a business line or reinforcing work of the ground under the track is carried out. SOLUTION: A steel pipe pile driving device is equipped with a track self- traveling device 4 provided to a self-traveling body 1 in a liftable manner and having a contact self-traveling device 3, a steel pipe pile rotational press in device 5 borne on the front of the self-traveling body 1 and a steel pipe pile holding device 6A. The steel pipe pile holding device 6A is constituted of a steel pipe pile bearing device 43 for bearing a steel pipe pile W and a driving mechanism 42 for moving the steel pipe pile bearing device 43 to a three- dimensional direction, and the steel pipe pile W borne on the steel pipe pile bearing device 43 is set in the steel pipe pile rotational press-in device 5 from a side position of the steel pipe pile rotational press in device 5.
