Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag securing high airtightness by forming the air bag into a double-bag structure constituted of an outer bag made of a woven fabric and an airtight inner bag having nearly the same shape when expanded and deployed without sticking the outer bag and the inner bag together. SOLUTION: An airtight inner bag 7 having nearly the same shape as that of an outer bag 6 made of a woven fabric when they are expanded and deployed is inserted into the outer bag 6 to form a double-bag structure without sticking both bags 7, 6 together. The airtight inner bag 7 is hardly broken, and this air bag 5 with the double-bag structure can secure high airtightness, thereby it can effectively protect the occupant from not only the secondary collision of the occupant immediately after a collision but also the danger by the rolling of a vehicle at the time of a side collision of the vehicle. The outer bag 6 is hollow-woven, the storage property and folding property are good at the normal time, the double-bag structure can be simply realized, and the degree of freedom in designing the constituting material and weaving structure of the outer bag 6 is large.
