Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method which adjusts an image pickup device with a high precision in a short time. SOLUTION: An adjustment sheet SH is fitted to positioning parts 2a and 2b, and a light source 1 is made to emit light in this state. Light emitted from the light source 1 is transmitted through the light-transmissive part of the adjustment sheet SH and is emitted as transmission light ph1. The transmission light ph1 is successively reflected by mirrors 3 and 4 and is condensed by a lens 5 to form an image on the light reception face of a CCD(charge coupled device) 6. An electric signal S6 of the CCD 6 is subjected to prescribed operation by an operation part 9, and the operation result is displayed on a display device. The angle of the mirror 3, the direction of the light reception face of the CCD 6, or the magnification of an image pickup device is adjusted based on the operation result.
