Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain wrench preventing a specified part of a chain from slipping out of a fit-in locking part even if the chain becomes loose while allowing the specified part of the chain to be easily detached from the fit-in locking part. SOLUTION: A chain 3 wound around the outer peripheral surface of a clamped member 2 is provided at the tip part of a grip part 1. A fit-in locking part 4 for fittingly locking a specified part on the free end side of the chain 3 is provided at the tip part of the grip part 1, and an abutting part 5 abutting the outer peripheral surface of the clamped member 2 is provided at the tip part of the grip part 1. In such a chain wrench, a slip-off stop press-in locking plate 6 for pressing down the specified part of the chain 3 fittingly locked to the fit-in locking part 4 is provided at the tip part of the grip part 1 so as to be close to the fit-in locking part 4, and this locking plate 6 is provided with a V-shaped cutout part 7 to be an in-and-out lead-in part for the specified part of the chain 3 to the fit-in locking part 4. The locking plate 6 holds elasticity so that the V-shaped cutout part 7 is elastically deformed to fit and detach the specified part of the chain 3 to and from the fit-in locking part 4.
