Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eraser of satisfactory durability, capable of efficiently generating ions by stable corona discharge, in which material grain or the like passing at high speed will not come into contact with an electrode even when used in the middle of suction carry of molding material grain. SOLUTION: A discharge electrode part is provided in a flow passage (c), having an inflow port at one end and an outflow part at the other end, and air introduced from the inflow port is ionized in the flow passage (c) to be jetted as ion blows from the outflow port in this static eraser. In this case, the discharge electrode part has a pair or more of needle electrodes 4 protruding into the flow passage (c), a step part 3 of which inner diameter is larger on the down-stream side than on the up-stream side is formed in the flow passage (c), the needle electrode 4 is installed on the step part 3 to be directed toward the down-stream side, and a grounding electrode 5 is provided on the down- stream side of the step part 3 in the condition, where it will not come into contact with the tip part of the needle electrode.
