Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the presence or absence of frosting of an outdoor heat exchanger from being judged erroneously. SOLUTION: In air-conditioner, a fresh air detector 18 for detecting outside air temperature, a drive current detector 14 for detecting the drive current of an outdoor fan 13, and an outdoor heat exchanger temperature detector 17 and a control part 16 for detecting the temperature of an outdoor heat exchanger 12 are provided. Then, when the outside air temperature is 0 deg.C or higher, the temperature of the outdoor heat exchanger 12 is compared with a preset reference temperature corresponding to the outside air temperature by the control part 16 for judging whether the outdoor heat exchanger 12 is frosted or not. Then, when the outside air temperature is 0 deg.C or less, the drive current of the outdoor fan 13 is compared with a preset reference current to judge whether the outdoor heat exchanger 12 is frosted or not, thus selecting a frosting detection method according to the moisture of the fresh air and preventing frosting from being judged erroneously.
