Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone reaction system in which ozone absorption efficiency to water to be treated is improved and generation of waste ozone is reduced to attain making small and compact the system. SOLUTION: An ozone reaction treatment means 21 is provided with an ozone reaction tank 10, into which water to be treated 16 is supplied from a water to be treated supply system 17. On the other hand, the ozone reaction tank 10 is provided with a diffusing means 20 on the bottom part side thereof, and through an ozone generation/injection means 15, the generated ozone is injected to below the diffusing means 20. The injected ozone is dispersed by the diffusing means 20 and is blown out into the water to be treated 16 in an almost uniform surface distribution state and comes into gas-liquid contact with the water to be treated 16 to dissolve it therein. The dissolved ozone dissolved in the water to be treated 16 is oxidized making a contribution to ozone reaction. The treated water is recovered by an environmental system such as rivers through a treated water discharge system 22, and on the other hand, waste ozone not making a contribution to ozone reaction is decomposed by a waste ozone treatment system 33 and is made harmless to be released in the air.
