PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular metal induction heating device heating an annular metal body uniformly at the preset temperature, and easily inserting it into a shaft without failure on the maintenance site, etc. SOLUTION: In this annular metal body induction heating device, a heating plate 9 is set on the upside of a ceramic plate 8 put above a heating coil 1 of the induction heater, and a temperature detecting element 11 is embedded, from beneath, in the heating plate 9 at the position corresponding to the center of the heating coil 1, metal fittings 12 composed of thin plates and having an elastic structure are firmly fixed at the ends of the heating plate 9, and further an auxiliary heating plate 21 is set above the heating plate 9 through a lid 19. A control part 2 controls the output according to the output of the temperature detecting element 11 such that the heating plate 9 and the auxiliary heating plate 21 are kept at the preset temperature, thus the annular metal body 13 is heated to the prescribed temperature by the conduction heat and the radiant heat from the heating plate 9 and the auxiliary heating plate 21.
