Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band block filter for high power use. SOLUTION: Resonators (sub-waveguides) 21, 22 and 23 are joined on the outside wall of a main waveguide 10, and window parts 31, 32 and 33 capable of passing radio waves in a pipe are formed at the joint sections. The window parts 31, 32 and 33 are composed of plural almost circular or rectangular hole so that a maximum current can flow at the part of high electric field strength, and generation of arc at the time of high power is prevented. Thus, since generation of arc is surely prevented on the joint surface of the main waveguide 10 and the sub-waveguides 21, 22 and 23, a band block filter for high power use is easily realized.
