Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make common a test and debug environment for operating the test and debug of the function of the integrated firmware of a device on which a microprocessor is loaded through off-line/on-line in a wide band switch. SOLUTION: An RS232C driver 106 in a target firmware 101 controls an RS232C interface. An OS debugger 105 steals the input and output of another functioning block 103 being the substrate of the target firmware through an RS232C functioning block 104, and exchanges the input and output with the RS232C driver 1005. Thus, a personal computer or the like can be easily connected with a device for executing the target firmware 101 by using the general RS232C interface or the like, and a debug operation using a PC side debugger 109 can be easily attained. |
