Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that the image data of a document and the like requiring secrecy can be efficiently and safely controlled. SOLUTION: This coping machine is constituted so that the image data is generated by reading the image of an original and stored in a memory unit and the image is printed, based on the image data stored in the memory unit independently of the reading action of the image of the original. Besides, when the image is printed, based on the original stored in the memory unit, the image of the original corresponding to a new job is read and the image data is stored in the memory unit. The printing action of the image executed, based on the original stored in the memory unit, is interrupted (S44) in prescribed timing and a job ticket for specifying the image data newly stored in the memory unit is issued (S45).
