Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress daytime power consumption by disposing an outdoor unit on the roof of a building and disposing a heavy heat storage tank in the basement thereby utilizing heat stored during midnight power time band effectively. SOLUTION: An outdoor unit 101 comprising a compressor 1, an outdoor heat exchanger 2 and valves 21-25 is disposed on the roof of a building. An indoor unit 102 comprising a restrictor 5 and an indoor heat exchanger 6 is disposed in the ceiling space of the building and a heat transfer section 103 comprising a restrictor 3 and a heat transfer heat exchanger 4 is disposed on the roof of the building. Furthermore, a heat storage tank 10 is disposed in the basement while isolating significantly from the apparatus disposed on the roof. Refrigerant is circulated between the heat storage tank 10 in the basement and the heat transfer heat exchanger 4 on the roof by means of a refrigerant pump 7. This arrangement can suppress daytime power consumption by utilizing heat stored during midnight power time band effectively.
