Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a repairing method for a plurality of flaws produced in the outside surface of a cylindrical pressure vessel containing a gas or liquid. SOLUTION: A cylindrical pressure vessel 10 is furnished in the outside surface with a first grinding part 30 and second grinding part 40 adjoining in the circumferential direction and a third grinding part 40 adjoining in the axial direction to the first grinding part 30, and according to an analysis made for the effect of their distances X and Y upon the degree of stress concentration, it is showed that a plurality of flaws adjoining in the circumferential direction can be repaired in lump by one grinding part.
