PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the tunnel wall surface decision device which can perform retrieval in a short time and prevent misdecision making due to overlooking, has a constant criterion for a system which decides the soundness of a tunnel wall surface, and enables a different operator to obtain the same decision result. SOLUTION: The tunnel wall surface decision device which detects and stores the state of the wall surface in a tunnel by a detecting means and decides the soundness of the wall surface from the stored wall surface state uses both a visible image photographing means which photographs the state of the wall surface as a visible image and an infrared-ray image photographing means which photographs it as an infrared-ray image as the said detecting means and has a visible image storage means 1 which stores the visible image, an infrared-ray image storage means 11 which stores the infrared-ray image, an extracting means 3 which extracts a crack from the stored image, a water leak extracting means 13 which extracts a water leak from the stored image, a peeling extracting means 19 which extracts peeling from the storage image, and a wall surface decision means 27 which decides the soundness of the wall surface according to the results of the extracted crack, water leak, and peeling.
